Desk Sergeant Richard Gough makes his presence felt in David Sheppard’s new cell. Robert Minton previously occupied the same cell.

“Have you experienced poppers?” with narrowed eyes, asked Gough. “I’m sure you will like it. Obviously, once you’re comfortable with poppers, I’ll introduce you to the twins: Tina and Gina. You’ll grow to love the twins.”

Constable George Harris, grinning to himself as he heard Gough’s words “Tina and Gina”, watched them intently from outside the cell.

“I know you know why I’m here,” said Gough as he unbuckled his belt. “I haven’t got all day. Let’s get to it!”

A drabble consists of exactly 100 words. It is never less than 100 words. Nor is it more than 100 words. The read time is short. It is typically 30 seconds to a minute or so… Please remain with the article for at least 30 seconds. Leave a comment, highlight anything of interest, and clap.
