A Real Character
Random Drabble Word: “Character”…
Lieutenant Kate Dixon, standing in her office door, was waiting for D.C.I. Ed Hopkins and Detective Ed Greene arrived.
“You two. My Office. Now,” Dixon said.
“This can’t be good,” looking at Ed, Greene said. “I could seriously use another coffee.”
Ed and Greene entered the lieutenant’s office. Greene quickly closed the door.
“Is there something we can do for you?” Ed said with a slight smile.
“I could use your help with a case,” looking at the D.C.I., Dixon said to Ed. “What do you know about John Stewart?”
“He’s a real character,” Ed responded. “Stewart isn’t remotely trustworthy.”
A drabble consists of exactly 100 words. The read time is short. Please remain with the article for at least 30 seconds. I would appreciate it if you would leave a comment, highlight anything of interest, and clap.
