Desk Sergeant Richard Gough always exits David Sheppard’s cell with a satisfied grin. Constable George Harris, scratching himself, was waiting outside the cell when Gough opened the cell door.

“Do you mind if I take a turn?” Harris said to Gough. “I need to get off.”

“Go for it,” responded Gough. “In his current condition… I think he’ll let many men ride him.”

Gough, as Harris entered the cell, went back to work.

“I bet he’s going to enjoy himself,” observing the cell door close behind Harris, Gough thought to himself. “The constable should make Sheppard a regular daily ride.”

A drabble consists of exactly 100 words. It is never less than 100 words. Nor is it more than 100 words. The read time is short. It is typically 30 seconds to a minute or so… Please remain with the article for at least 30 seconds. Leave a comment, highlight anything of interest, and clap.
