It was just another ordinary day in Ironbridge when, suddenly something small hit the kitchen window. No one saw what it was. It left a small round hole.
Morghan Sheppard, on her way to school, discovered her grandfather’s lifeless body slumped over the kitchen table. Morghan’s scream caught her mother’s attention.
The elderly Sheppard had been shot in the head. There were no signs of anyone having entered or exited the house.
Local police detectives and uniformed constables were soon at the scene. It was one of the uniformed officers that first saw the hole in the window. Strange indeed.
