Agreed. Speaking of Star Trek: Discovery, with when the first two seasons are set, I can’t help but wonder what occurred to prevent women becoming starship captains. In the Star Trek: TOS episode Turnabout Intruder, the last episode in TOS, it was revealed women were denied the captaincy of starships.
