AHS: 1984, as the title indicates, takes television viewers back to the mid-1980s. With influences coming from the horror film franchises Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street and Halloween, American Horror Story’s ninth season is expected to embody the best aspects of 1980s slasher movies.
The main cast features Emma Roberts, Gus Kenworthy, Sarah Paulson, Angelica Ross, Billie Lourd, Cody Fern, Leslie Grossman, Matthew Morrison, DeRon Horton, Zach Villa, and John Carroll Lynch.
