D.C.I. Ed Hopkins makes a call…

“You certainly know what you are good for boy,” as he zipped up his trousers, Edward Wilkinson said with a grin. “Thanks for being such an easy ride.”
Meanwhile, elsewhere, Desk Sergeant Richard Gough receives a phone call. Anyone will a modicum of intelligence should have seen this conversation coming.
“Desk Sergeant Richard Gough speaking,” having picked up the receiver, the uniformed policeman said.
“Hello,” said the caller, “this is D.C.I. Ed Hopkins from the Police Station at Ironbridge. I am enquiring about a missing 12-year-old boy. His name is Robert Glynne Minton.”
Gough visibly choked on his own breath.
