A drabble consists of exactly 100 words. The read time is short. Please remain with the article for at least 30 seconds. I would appreciate it if you would leave a comment, highlight anything of interest, and clap.

Dr. Steven Rogers, a clinical psychologist, found himself waking up in a bed at St. Thomas’.

“Darling,” Nurse Amanda Parker said. “Do you know where you are?”

“My name is Dr. Rogers,” irritated by how was addressed, Rogers responded.

“Yes darling,” Parker replied.

“No,” annoyed with the nurse’s unprofessional tone, Rogers said. “Address me as Dr. Rogers. I’m not ok with people using terms of endearment. It’s simply not professional.”

“It’s a habit,” explaining Parker.

“It’s an unprofessional habit,” Rogers replied. “Not one I would accept at my hospital.”

The nurse’s facial expression, before Parker left the room, noticeably winced.
