Please be advised the New York’s Finest series contains themes of an adult nature….

A drabble consists of exactly 100 words. The read time is short. Please remain with the article for at least 30 seconds. I would appreciate it if you would leave a comment, highlight anything of interest, and clap.

The kidnapping case has been a work in progress for six weeks.

“Is there anything new on your side of the border?” Captain Ed Hopkins asked. “I’ve got nothing.”

“Not on this end,” responded Detective Sergeant Frankie Bateman. “We need to expand the search.”

“This could be nothing but right now, obviously, anything is better than nothing,” Hopkins said. “These this other case I’m working on. Eight men new to a small town close to the New York-New Jersey border have been behaving suspiciously. The local sheriff has asked for assistance.”

“We’re on our way,” Detective Sergeant Henry Graff said.
