“Breaking News” on the television screen caught Captain Kate Dixon’s attention.

“What?” Dixon said to herself. “Let’s hope it’s not New York.”

“Sir Trevor McDonald is live in London,” said an NBC News anchor, “What can you tell us?”

“All we know thus far,” responded Sir Trevor, “an explosion at Sleepy Hollow Police Station occurred earlier this morning. It’s completely done.”

“Rescue workers are trying to sift through the rubble to determine if there are any survivors. None have been found.”

“There had also been unsubstantiated reports of gunfire in and around the police station. I will keep you updated.”
