President Donald J. Trump, as reported on Saturday, 1 Feb. 2025, is apparently set to order steep tariffs on goods from Mexico, Canada and China.
Both Canada and Mexico, whilst China is looking at 10% above current tariffs, face 25% duties. None of the countries impacted will likely take kindly to Trump’s actions. There will possibly be significant fallout coming.

Following boycotts in Croatia on January 24, and in conjunction with a follow-up boycott in the country, it was reported on Friday, 31 January 2025 that residents of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, and North Macedonia started a new boycott of retail stores in response to rising prices.
