Can you believe it? It's after 03:30 in the morning and I am still reading drabbles. I just wrote a review... so, there is that. I digress.

Your title, Some Habits are Easier to Kick, reminds me of the many times I recently spent hospitalised. Many NHS staff, particularly nurses, have this unprofessional habit of addressing patients with terms of endearment. Some people don't mind but, personally, I can't stand it. It is what it is. Some habits, as you correctly observe, are easier to kick than others. I always got the impression they never tries to kick that particular habit.

You did a great job with your drabble. The approach you took to the challenge word, whilst it has reminded me of recent personal events, is extraordinary. You always bring your best work to these stories. There is a great quality to your writing. This might be your best drabble yet.
