Care for a Jelly Baby?
D.C.I. Ed Hopkins loves his jelly babies!
Random Drabble Word of the Day is “Hero”…
“Sarah thinks I watch too much Doctor Who,” as he takes a jelly baby from a glass bowl on his desk, said D.C.I. Ed Hopkins to D.C. Simon Phillips.
Simon smiles. There is evidence supporting the claim.
“Let us evaluate the evidence,” still smiling, the detective constable replied. “You wear bow ties. You have a bowl of jelly babies on your desk that must be refilled daily. There is a fez on top of your coat stand. Then there is the hero style trench coat. Did I forget anything?”
“Yes,” commented Ed. “You forgot my framed collection of sonic screwdrivers.”
