Each day a different word. Each day a distinct set of exceptionally written stories. Leaden is the word of the day and you clearly addressed the challenge perfectly.

There have been several stories published thus far today. One is a story of my own creation. We have all, as writers, approached the word from different angles. This is good. It means variety.

The variety of stories is immense. It is not easy limiting yourself to 100 words. No more. No less. The drabble you have presented is marvellously well-executed. I cannot wait to see what comes next.
