Everyday is a good day for drabble writing. Each day comes with a distinctly different challenge word. Consequently, because of this, the challenge varies. Some challenges are fairly easy. Other challenges, obviously, are significantly more difficult.

You, once again, have taken an easy challenge and made it complex. I like how you used the challenge word. The narrative feels well thought out. The characters, to a certain degree, could be real.
