Please be advised Ironbridge drabble series contains adult material…

A drabble consists of exactly 100 words. The read time is short. Please remain with the article for at least 30 seconds. I would appreciate it if you would leave a comment, highlight anything of interest, and clap.

Alister Sheppard, on arriving home, immediately started looking for his granddaughter.

“Have you seen my granddaughter?” smiling inwardly to himself, Sheppard said to his daughter-in-law.

“Not for a while,” Millie Sheppard responded. “Why do you ask?”

“I have several bottles of that cream soda she likes,” responded Sheppard. “I’ll be giving it to her the first chance I get.”

“That’s extremely thoughtful of you,” Millie replies. “You’re so kind and generous.”

“She’ll be getting it,” Sheppard thought to himself. “There is no point wasting cream soda. She’s a girl. There’s a good chance she might be ripe. A lasting gift.”
