A drabble consists of exactly 100 words. The read time is short. Please remain with the article for at least 30 seconds. I would appreciate it if you would leave a comment, highlight anything of interest, and clap.

Jennifer Wallace, having grown tired of being aboard in a foreign country, had returned home so she could pack.

“It’s time for me to return to the UK,” Wallace thought to herself. “There is no place like home.”

With everything packed, noting plenty of time available, Wallace headed to the kitchen and made herself a nice cup of tea. Earl Grey was always her thing.

Tea, as most Americans know, is very much a British thing. Wallace, with her cup of tea, relaxed in her room. She had some writing to complete. A knock at the door caught her attention.
