I’m NOT going There!
The Best Days of Our Lives
Matthew James Fletcher, before forcibly being transferred to The John Hunt School, made his position fairly clear.
“I’m NOT going there,” in no uncertain terms, Fletcher told his primary school headmaster.
The choice of secondary school, whilst it had apparently been for Fletcher’s adoptive parents to make, was executed by the headmaster. It wasn’t his choice to make. But, obviously, he did it anyway.
It didn’t take Fletcher long, during the summer holiday, to figure out there was no choice in the matter. He, come hell or high water, was going to attend The John Hunt School.
The John Hunt School, situated on Gibbons Road in Trench, was at least a 45-minute drive from Broseley and that was on a good day. In heavy traffic, depending on whether conditions, it could be a lot longer. It is what it is. He at least didn’t have to travel by bus to his destination.
The day school started, at approximately 07:45 that morning, a black taxi arrived outside the Robinson residence. A shiny black taxi, a vehicle the likes of which are commonly seen in and around the streets of London, caused quite the stir with local residents.
