Chapter One. Part Seven.
… is Part of the Journey (Part 2 of 2)
Concerning Matthew James Fletcher…
Matthew James Fletcher, even though he liked his life with Ronald Paul George, had grown increasingly irritated with how everything much be done George’s way. Fletcher didn’t get to do anything he wanted . The money he earned went on the rent whilst the money George brought into the home went on everything else.
This way, as one can imagine, George was able to dictate every purchase made. This included the food bought. There were certain things Fletcher liked that George wouldn’t contemplate purchasing. It frustrated Fletcher to the point that he decided to find somewhere else to live. The only question was… Where?
Fletcher had found for himself a job with ASDA. ASDA, a major British supermarket chain, have been bought by American giant Walmart the previous year. A new ASDA was being opened nearby.
ASDA Donnington Wood, known to have opened on Monday, 14 Feb. 2000, wasn’t the largest ASDA location in Telford. It was the best looking. The management team liked Fletcher because he was always willing to help with anything required… almost anything. Fletcher had no desire to work the petrol station.
