Opening night, first night, is hugely important in the life of a thespian looking to leave their mark on the world of live theatre. There is nothing quite like a good theatrical performance,

Anyone that has ever experienced a performance at the National Theatre or seen recorded performances, and I am looking at A Midsummer Night's Dream or This House as perfect examples, will know what I'm talking about.

This drabble exemplifies the world of live theatre. Perfectly well-addressed in the writing, with a clear reverence for Broadway musicals, this is a marvellous drabble.
