Random Drabble Word: “Federal”…

A drabble consists of exactly 100 words. The read time is short. Please remain with the article for at least 30 seconds. I would appreciate it if you would leave a comment, highlight anything of interest, and clap.

Dark days ahead. Never seeing home again is a terrifying prospect. Someone working with the US State Department, a federal officer, told Dr. Sam Beckett the only way he will get home again is in a box. Beckett, blinded by fear, has accepted his fate. He never accepted not being able to go home again.

Frequently, without regard for what it makes him look like, Beckett holds lengthy conversations with himself. He says it is the only way he can engage in an intelligent discussion. One reason could be that he has a dim view of most people around him.
