Perseverance Prevails
Random Drabble Word: “Perseverance”…
Donald Grainger, having worked on his graduate degree part time, nervously waited for his name to be called. Granger, a UNT graduate student, recently completed his last grad level course.
Grainger, not being able to make his mind up, decided to work on an MS in Interdisciplinary Studies. He studied communication studies, history, and journalism.
“Perseverance prevails,” whispering in Grainger’s left ear, Dr Walter Roberts said. “You made it to your graduation day. Be proud with your extraordinary accomplishment.”
The delight written across Grainger’s face, when his name was called, was clearly palpable. This was his moment in the sun.
A drabble consists of exactly 100 words. The read time is short. Please remain with the article for at least 30 seconds. I would appreciate it if you would leave a comment, highlight anything of interest, and clap.
