The Police Station at Ironbridge
A picture, when it comes to a drabble, paints one hundred words
Random Drabble Word of the Day is “Police”…
The historic Police Station at Ironbridge, being the name of the station, is hidden in plain sight. The police station, reflected by the postal address, is found on St. Luke’s Road.
The back on the building is right next to Church Hill. It overlooks much of Ironbridge. Ironbridge’s church, St. Luke’s, is only a stone’s throw away from the window to D.C.I. Ed. Hopkin’s office.
Ed has a clear view of the bridge from which the town gets its name. The bridge, erected in 1779, was considered an engineering marvel. The Iron Bridge represents the Birth of the Industrial Revolution.
