John Stewart understood what was needed and was more than capable of executing the plan. Battle lines have been drawn in the sand. There are no ifs, ands, or buts. D.C.I. Ed Hopkins is in New York.

It is clear to Stewart that the only reason the British detective is in the Big Apple was him. Stewart quickly connected all the right dots.

“How did you know John Stewart was in New York?” in conversation with Ed, Detective Ed Greene said. “We hadn’t heard a thing.”

“It’s a matter of thinking,” Ed responded. “Think like a criminal not a detective.”

A drabble consists of exactly 100 words. The read time is short. Please remain with the article for at least 30 seconds. I would appreciate it if you would leave a comment, highlight anything of interest, and clap.
