This drabble takes me back to the days when my father couldn't be bother to walk the six feet from his chair to the television. Those were the days.... Not great for everyone.

The only things my parents wanted to watch were Emmerdale Farm, before it became Emmerdale, and Coronation Street. Terrible television. Horrid.

Something that's not horrid, obviously, is your drabble. You did a marvellous job with the challenge word. Nicely done. Certainly one of the more captivating stories I have read today. I must say, from my perspective, it feels more like real life than it does fiction.
