This is exceptional. I love how you based this drabble on factually historical events. It is marvellously well-written. You certainly know the historical context of “Rosie the Riveter.”

There were many women, during the Second World War, that perfectly exemplified “Rosie the Riveter”. The war, because of the absence of men, gave women the opportunity to leave the home environment.

Curiously, after the war, these same women were expected to return to that home sphere as if nothing had happened. Many women resented this because, during the war, they got to get a taste of what life could be like.
