Vengeance is Inevitable
Random Drabble Word: “Vengeance”…
There is much pain in this world. Actions frequently have unforeseen consequences. John Stewart, despite all his faults, has always recognised this point of truth.
Not once has John ever hidden his desire for vengeance. Phillip Simons, John’s closest of friends, always saw the truth and it has never left him.
John’s coldness towards those persons that would turn their backs on him is readily apparent. The vengeance he seeks, in his eyes, is justified.
“Vengeance is not a walk in the park,” as they finished their coffee, Phillip told John.
John, without uttering a word, smiled. Change is coming.
