You did a great job with this story. I am not sure I could have managed to write the same story in only 100 words. I tent to be extremely verbose. It is what it is. that's just my personal writing style.

Your use of the challenge word, given the word constraint, is wonderful. I love how the story unfolds. There is a clear consistency to your writing that lends itself perfectly to the story's pacing. Great stuff.
