Doctor Who, with the thirteenth series in the rebooted production, will return before the end of the year. Chris Chibnall, the current showrunner, will be leaving the series.

Jodie Whittaker, The Thirteenth Doctor, will be making her last stand as the titular character in her coming series third and final outing. Filming for the coming thirteenth series, after commencing in November 2020, was completed in August 2021. Both Chibnall and Whittaker, bidding farewell to the TARDIS, will be charting a new career course.

Law & Order: Organized Crime, the most recent addition to the New York-set Dick Wolf created francise, returns on Thursday, 23 September 2021 with the second season premiere. The first season, with an eight episode run, felt significantly different to previous Law & Order offerings. It possessed a serialised storyline that ran the entire season.

The second season is set to premiere the same day as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. L&O: SVU, with the twenty-third season premiering soon, has been a significant part of American television since 1999.
